About the job
We are looking for an administrative officer for the Maritime Supervision section in Gothenburg. Your future tasks will involve handling administrative tasks related to our document management connected to maritime supervision for vessels, shipping companies, and ports within the Unit for Vessels and Seaworthiness.
You will work closely with the operations and see it as natural to effectively meet its needs and support colleagues in your shared mission within the unit.

You will
- independently register, prepare, and add supervision cases within the unit
- code the section's invoices in the accounting system UBW
- manage registers and archives
- support the section's managers and inspectors with administrative tasks
- have frequent contact with internal and external parties when handling cases
- develop and ensure the quality of processes and routines
- handle other tasks within the section.
You must have
- a high school education
- education in archival science
- relevant professional experience from qualified administration, where you have independently taken responsibility in public operations
- current experience in case registration, archiving, and documentation
- good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite
- very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you also have
- experience in invoice management
- experience working with classified documents
- experience from the maritime industry
- experience in systematic quality work.

The employment is permanent with placement in Gothenburg. We would like you to start as soon as possible. We normally apply a probationary period.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About Transportstyrelsen
Number of employees: Approximately 2000.
Areas of operation: Transportstyrelsen works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, maritime, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership transfers.
Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The majority of the operations are located in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro.
The head office is located in Norrköping.
About the Maritime and Aviation Department
The Maritime and Aviation Department contributes to a competitive, environmentally friendly, and safe transport system. We do this by maintaining registers, formulating regulations, processing and granting permits, and exercising supervision. We also operate in many contexts on the international stage.
We are located in Norrköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm and have approximately 300 employees organized into six units and a staff unit.
